| Use | 5-bromo-2-hydroxy-3-nitropyridine is an organic intermediate that can be used to prepare compounds 3-amino-1-(2-oxo-2-(3 '-(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl) ethyl)-5-(pyrrole alkyl-1-yl-sulfonyl) pyridin-2 (1H)-one, this compound is a DOCK1 inhibitory compound. |
| synthesis method | nitric acid (60-61%,3.5mL) was added to the solution (10mL) of 5-bromopyridine -2(1H)-one (1.75g,10.1mmol) in sulfuric acid at 0 ℃. The mixture is allowed to be heated to room temperature and stirred for 3 hours. The reaction mixture is poured into ice water and the resulting precipitate is collected by filtration. The resulting product was washed with water and dried in vacuum, giving 5-bromo-2-hydroxy-3-nitropyridine (960mg,43% yield) as a white solid. 1H NMR(500MHz,CDCl3)δ:8.57(s,1H),8.26(s,1H). |
